Student Testimonials

  • I have adhd and I’ve received extra time on testing, breaks during class, extensions on assignments, and assisted note taking.

  • also I’m able to take tests in the testing center which is much better than doing so in a large lecture hall and much quieter.

  • however it’s also dependent on a case by case basis and you’ll be assigned to a specialist who will help advocate for you to receive the accommodations you need.

  • OSAS is a disaster and does everything it can to avoid helping students.

  • There's no formal complaint process, so they can get away with negligence without any legal ramifications

  • Disabilities at USC are not taken seriously in any way, and OSAS provides little to no advocacy or support for their students.

  • I’ve heard from several other students about their poor experiences with professors refusing to give sufficient accommodations...

  • There is no standardization or actual education about disabilities among faculty and this is so obvious in the way they all interpret the accommodations differently. It’s absolutely exhausting to be a disabled student here.
