Accommodations

  • Disability Resource Center 🔗

    • Purpose is to ensure that students with disabilities have equal access to academic experiences

    • Aims to promote independence and self-advocacy

    • Accommodations include: note taking services, testing accommodations, absences and extensions, reduced course load, emotional support animals, personal care assistants, etc.

  • Learning Disabilities Program 🔗

    • Fee-based academic support program for undergraduates with learning disabilities or ADHD

    • Meetings: individual sessions with LDP specialists, twice a week, one-hour duration

    • Content based on student's goals, learning profile, and coursework

      Includes strategies for studying, test-taking, executive functioning, goal setting, and progress monitoring

      • Raise awareness about disability issues

      • Partner with clubs, students, staff, organizations to collaborate on projects focused on accessibility
